quote from letter from Russell Fisher, Utica, Mississippi, Feb. 14, 1958 to Nellie Hanna Love Sydnes, High Island, Texas
"Am sending the Robinson ancestry as I have which carries back to just prior 1700 in Maryland John Robinson Sr. is buried near Hermanville, Miss. Benj. and William F. two of his sons are buried near Rocky Springs, a daughter is buried at Port Gibson. I don't know where James, your ancestor, is buried; however, I believe at Port Gibson, though I've never been able to locate his grave. Nancy who married Elijah Clarke in Claiborne County, is buried in the Clarke Cemetery near Carlisle, Mississippi. Uncle George Fisher's first wife was a niece of Elijah Clarke, then Benj. Robinson bro. to your James wed Lavinia Taylor who was a sister to the great grandmother of Lawrence Mallette. She was Sarah Ann Taylor, the first thing you know you will be your own grandmother, as soon as I can work it out I'll send what I have on the Hanna family."
